India is my pride, a land of extraordinary beauty, diversity and boundless spirit. From the snow-capped Himalayas to the shores of the south, from our deserts and forests to our cities and villages, every part of this country carries a story. Thousands of languages, traditions, cultures and ways of life exist side by side, yet together they form one India. To me, this is truly the best country in the world.
My love for this nation runs deeper than words can capture. India has given me a sense of identity, belonging and purpose. Every festival, every language, every tradition, every corner of this land adds another layer to the love I carry for my country. There is something incredibly special about being part of a nation with such a deep history and such an exciting future.
India is growing massively, and it has come so far over the last few years because of the efforts of millions of people. Farmers who feed us, workers who keep our cities moving, teachers who shape generations, doctors who save lives, scientists who expand what is possible, engineers and entrepreneurs who build the future, artists who preserve our culture, athletes who carry the tricolor onto the world stage, and countless ordinary citizens who work every day to move India forward. Every one of them is a part of India's incredible journey.
Today, my heart also bows to our armed forces who protect our borders with extraordinary courage and sacrifice. Many serve far away from their families and dedicate their lives to protecting the country we call home. To every soldier serving today and every family that has stood beside them, thank you. Your courage and sacrifice will always be a part of India's story.
But India's story is much bigger than any one generation. It is the story of millions of people who have built, served, created, discovered, taught, healed and dreamed. From the freedom fighters who gave us an independent nation to the generations that built the India we see today, so many people have contributed to this journey. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us.
And now it is our turn.
I want to stay here. I want to build here. I want to grow here. Whatever I learn, whatever I build and whatever I accomplish in my life, I want a part of it to contribute to India's growth. I want to be part of a generation that takes India's enormous potential and turns it into reality. I want to help build an India that is stronger, more prosperous, more innovative and more capable than ever before.
The future of India is incredibly exciting. We have the talent, the ambition, the people and the opportunity to build something extraordinary. I believe the best chapters of India's story are still waiting to be written, and I want to be here to help write them.
India will keep rising. India will keep building. India will keep moving forward.
And I will always be proud to call it home.
Happy 80th Independence Day, India. 🇮🇳
Vande Mataram. Jai Hind.
